We’re currently hiring part-time Studio Assistants to join our team! This is a hands-on, customer-facing position that involves everything from welcoming guests to cleaning brushes, assisting events, and helping customers with their projects. You’ll be trained in all studio tasks, with opportunities to grow into higher responsibility levels over time.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is dependable, honest, and shows up on time
- Takes initiative and jumps in where needed (you don’t wait to be told to sweep!)
- Communicates clearly with customers and coworkers
- Enjoys working with people of all ages, including children and individuals with special needs
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Loves being in a creative environment even if they don’t consider themselves “artsy”
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting and assisting guests with art projects
- Explaining studio tools and procedures
- Setting up and cleaning up for classes and events
- Restocking materials and maintaining a clean studio
- Assisting with unloading/loading kilns and clay prep (training provided)
- Completing daily task checklists and helping out wherever needed
Position Details:
- Part-time (~20 hours/week)
- Shifts may fall anytime between 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM, 7 days a week
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and be on your feet for most of your shift
- Year-round availability required (we do not hire for summer-only or seasonal roles)
- Weekend and evening availability is required
