An employee who is not regularly scheduled. PRN/Casual employees in the nursing department (CNA/NAR, TMA, LPN, RN) will pick up no less than 24 hours every month with 8 of those hours being on the weekend and 16 of those hours being on a weekday. PRN/Casual employees will not be entitled to the incentive pay for the weekday hours and will work at their regular rate of pay with shift differential. As for the weekend hours, incentive pay will apply. PRN/Casual employees are still required to attend monthly employee forums, in-services and other mandatory meetings set by the department. Weekend Incentive Pay- Friday 2:00 PM to Sunday 10:30 PM. Shift Differentials: Evening: $1.50 Night $2.00
The CNA provides direct care to residents while under the supervision of a licensed nurse, RN or LPN. The Care Center CNA provides care for adult and geriatric patients in the Madison Healthcare Services’ skilled nursing facility.
