Maintenance Technician
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support the reliability and performance of manufacturing equipment through advanced electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repairs. This role is responsible for preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, installations, and continuous improvement initiatives while minimizing downtime and ensuring a safe work environment.
Requirements of the Maintenance Technician
- 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Expert-level troubleshooting of electrical controls, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, motors, sensors, and industrial automation
- Strong mechanical experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, compressors, and mechanical rebuilds
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical blueprints
- Experience with CMMS and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and machine safety practices
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and continuous improvement initiatives preferred
- Experience with air compressors, chillers, HVAC systems, punch presses, calibration, and reliability engineering concepts preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime, weekends, and on-call support as needed
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues on production equipment
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability
- Diagnose and repair PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, motors, sensors, and other industrial control systems
- Install, upgrade, and commission manufacturing equipment
- Utilize the CMMS to manage work orders, maintenance records, and spare parts inventory
- Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions
- Partner with Production, Quality, and Engineering to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, LOTO, and company safety standards
- Support continuous improvement, TPM, 5S, and equipment reliability initiatives
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed to support maintenance activities
Schedule is 1st shift, DIRECT HIRE
Pay is $35.00 - $40.00 an hour, based on experience
