Job Summary
Avanciers is seeking a detail-oriented Transaction Procurement Specialist to support procurement operations by managing the end-to-end purchase order process. The ideal candidate will have experience working with ERP systems (preferably SAP), processing purchase requisitions, ensuring policy compliance, and maintaining procurement data accuracy while supporting supplier transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and convert approved Purchase Requisitions (PRs) into Purchase Orders (POs) using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Ensure all procurement transactions comply with company purchasing policies, approval workflows, spending limits, and contract requirements.
- Investigate and resolve procurement issues, including blocked workflows, data discrepancies, and delayed purchase orders.
- Monitor procurement productivity by tracking purchase order savings and supplier part number volumes.
- Manage procurement activities including:
- Purchase Order (PO) creation and maintenance
- Purchase Requisitions (PR)
- First Production orders
- LAIR processing
- STO (Stock Transfer Orders)
- QIR management
- CIR management
- Open Order Book maintenance
- PO line conversions
- Part number revisions
- Delivery schedule updates
- Charge number modifications
- Shipping and invoicing coordination
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with ERP/Procurement systems, preferably SAP.
- Strong understanding of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process.
- Experience processing Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs).
- Proven experience with PR-to-PO conversion activities.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to validate item numbers, quantities, pricing, and cost centers accurately.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple procurement transactions in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Oracle or other ERP procurement platforms.
- Knowledge of supplier management and procurement operations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
