This is a hands-on, physically demanding role that requires advanced construction skills, the ability to work at heights and in attics, and meticulous attention to detail.
This is NOT an entry-level construction position. We will train you on wildlife exclusion methods and company processes, but you must already have proven construction experience. If you're not comfortable on roofs, extension ladders, or working in tight/dirty spaces, do not apply.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform complete exterior wildlife exclusions on residential homes (sealing entry points from foundation to roofline)
- Repair damaged soffits, fascia, trim, siding, and roof components
- Work on roofs daily (tile, composition, metal) using extension ladders up to 40 feet
- Access attics and crawlspaces to assess damage, set traps, and install insulation
- Paint and finish all repairs to match existing home exterior
- Install one-way doors and motion cameras for wildlife monitoring
- Communicate with customers professionally and explain work being performed
- Maintain company vehicle and equipment
- Follow company SOPs and quality standards on every job
Daily Work Environment:
- 90% of your day is spent on ladders, roofs, and in attics
- Work outdoors in Texas heat (summer temps 95-105°F)
- Attics can reach 130-140°F in summer
- Tight spaces, dust, insulation, and wildlife droppings are part of the job
- Physically demanding work requiring strength, balance, and endurance
REQUIREMENTS (READ CAREFULLY - WE WILL VERIFY)

- Roofing (composition, tile, metal)
- Carpentry (framing, trim, finish work)
- Siding installation and repair

- Structural metalwork
We will ask for references and examples of your work. If you don't have construction experience, do not apply.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift and carry 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day
- Comfortable working on roofs with steep pitches
- Able to climb extension ladders up to 40 feet multiple times daily

- Ability to problem-solve and adapt to unique job site conditions
Professional Requirements:
- Clean driving record (you will drive a company vehicle daily)
- Reliable transportation to our Leon Springs shop location
- Professional appearance and communication skills
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation
- Ability to work independently once trained
- Willingness to follow company processes and quality standards exactly as taught
- Must be able to pass Drug Test & Background Check
Location Requirement:
Our shop is located in Leon Springs (northwest San Antonio). If you live more than 20 minutes away, factor in San Antonio traffic and construction. Long commutes may not be sustainable for this role.
