Please note: This is a demanding role that requires strong multitasking abilities, excellent follow-through, and a high level of attention to detail. Success in this position requires previous dental front office experience, confidence discussing treatment and finances, and a strong understanding of dental insurance.
What You'll Do
- Deliver a warm, professional, five-star experience for every patient
- Schedule and coordinate appointments efficiently
- Present treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements
- Collect and post patient payments accurately
- Verify insurance benefits and explain coverage to patients
- Submit, track, and follow up on insurance claims
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients, doctors, and team members
- Help keep the schedule productive and the practice running smoothly
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 years of experience using Dentrix Ascend
- Minimum 1 years of dental front office experience
- Strong knowledge of dental insurance verification, claims processing, and benefit breakdowns
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong computer and technology skills
- Ability to stay organized and focused in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience presenting treatment plans and financial arrangements
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and tooth numbering
- HIPAA, OSHA, and CPR certifications
