No experience? No problem.
We’re not looking for years in the field... we’re looking for people who are ready to work and commit!
LightPath Engineering is launching a 60-day traveling internship. Similar to a trade school, you show up, we train you from the ground up, and you earn your way into a real career in the telecommunications industry.
This isn’t sitting in a classroom taking notes. This is boots-on-the-ground and learning a skill that actually pays.
Over 60 days, you’ll be trained in utility mapping. Locating and documenting underground infrastructure like fiber optics, power, and communication systems. This is the work that keeps us connected, jobs moving, and systems running.
You’ll start by learning how to read prints, use locating equipment, and understand how infrastructure is laid out in the real world. Then you’ll take that training into the field! You'll be working alongside a mentor, getting real reps, and building toward running your own business.
This program is designed with one goal: Take someone with no experience and turn them into an independent subcontractor who can go out and produce in this industry.
That means this isn’t just a temporary internship. It’s a launch point!
But transparency is important; this isn’t for everyone.
You’ll be traveling for 60 days, working 5-6 day workweeks.
You’ll be working outside in all kinds of conditions.
You’ll be coached and expected to show up every day ready to learn.
What we care about isn’t your background, it’s your attitude, your integrity, and your work ethic.
If you’ve got grit, we’ll meet you with a team that’s fully invested in building you up. Mentorship, structure, and a path forward.
And on the other side of those 60 days? You’re not starting over.
You’re stepping into a skillset that can realistically put you on track to earn $2,500/week or more as you build your production.
This is for the person who’s tired of dead-end jobs, who wants to learn something real, and who’s ready to bet on themselves.
We’ll invest in you. All we ask is that you commit.
If that sounds like you, APPLY TODAY!
