Job Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified and dynamic Director of Nursing for our Ambulatory Surgical Center. The ideal candidate will possess nursing management experience, demonstrating strong leadership in clinical operations, staff supervision, and patient care quality. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of ambulatory surgical procedures, nursing administration, and assist in compliance with healthcare regulations. As the Director of Nursing, you will oversee daily clinical activities, ensure adherence to safety standards, and foster a collaborative environment that promotes excellence in patient outcomes and staff development.
Duties
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight of nursing services within the ambulatory surgical setting, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.
- Supervise nursing staff, including charge nurses and clinical personnel, fostering professional growth and maintaining a motivated team environment.
- Oversee documentation review and ensure accurate medical records management using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system SIS Complete.
- Coordinate shift management to optimize staffing levels while maintaining quality care delivery across all operational hours.
- Ensure adherence to nursing best practices in all clinical activities.
Requirements
- Proven management experience in nursing administration within ambulatory surgical centers or similar healthcare environments.
- Strong knowledge of documentation standards relevant to surgical nursing.
- Familiarity with EMR systems for efficient medical records management.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security are maintained at all times.
- Demonstrated ability to lead effectively while maintaining high-quality patient care standards.
- Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to foster teamwork among clinical staff.
Pay: $91,520.00 - $108,640.00 per year
