About the Role
Core Diagnostic Laboratories is hiring an experienced, motivated Laboratory Technician for the overnight shift on our molecular lab team in Birmingham, AL. We specialize in molecular testing — including COVID-19, UTI, respiratory, women’s health, and wound panels — and you’ll take specimens from intake to result: sorting and assessing sample integrity, running DNA/RNA extraction on our Qiagen HTs, plating, performing Real-Time PCR on our QuantStudios, and analyzing and reporting results.
It’s precise, hands-on bench work under time pressure, best suited to a dependable, detail-oriented tech who can keep the bench moving accurately on their own and knows when to flag a problem.
