American Traveler is hiring a Resource RN with ER and Med/Surg experience for a 13-week night shift assignment at a critical access hospital.

Resource position covering both Emergency Department and Med/Surg units based on facility need
-
Acute care setting within a Critical Access Hospital (CAH)
-
Med/Surg nurse-to-patient ratio typically 1:3-1:4, occasionally up to 1:5 depending on census
-
Two nurses staffed on the unit at all times

Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, working every Sunday-Tuesday
-
Full-time schedule with 36 guaranteed hours per week

Uses Cerner EMR
-
Active RN license
-
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required

ER and Med/Surg clinical experience required

Provide direct patient care across both ED and Med/Surg units as needed

Orientation typically consists of 1-2 shifts depending on traveler comfort level

Extension likely offered for travelers who are a good fit
