- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, applying fluoride treatments, and taking dental x-rays.
- Conduct patient assessments to identify oral health conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide oral hygiene education and instructions to patients of all ages, including pediatric patients.
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures and surgeries.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using dental office software (e.g., Eaglesoft, CAD).
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care.

- Valid state dental hygiene license.
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
- Knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures.
