Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting Non-Haz loads safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate various routes effectively. Experience with tankers is highly desirable.
Local loads out of Woodward/Enid area, home daily!
Average of 1,000-3,000 miles per week
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of product.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and loads delivered.
- Follow designated routes while being flexible to adapt to changes as needed.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays during transport.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service while delivering loads.
Experience
- Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Experience in route driving and understanding of logistics is preferred.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to truck driving and product handling.
