Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding components according to specifications and industry standards. This role requires a strong understanding of various welding techniques, including FCAW and Stick welding, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Welder will work primarily on construction sites, contributing to the building of ductwork and other structural components.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and weld metal components following project specifications and codes standards.
- Perform various welding techniques, including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and Stick welding, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
- Assemble ductwork and other metal structures as per design specifications.
- Conduct inspections of welded joints to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on construction sites.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Operate machinery related to welding and fabrication tasks as needed.
- Must pass D1.3 Weld Test within first 30 days of employment.
Experience
- Proven experience in welding, particularly in fabrication and construction environments.
- Familiarity with welding codes and standards relevant to the industry.
- Experience with ductwork assembly is a plus.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Previous experience in machining is advantageous but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Experience:
- MIG welding: 3 years (Required)
- FluxCore Welding: 3 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- ASNE Weld Certification (Required)
