Medicaid Guidance Solutions (MGS) is a growing Florida Medicaid planning and consulting firm dedicated to helping seniors and their families navigate the Medicaid Long-Term Care process with confidence, compassion, and professionalism.
We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and relationship-driven Medicaid Specialist / Long-Term Care Consultant to join our growing team.
This position is ideal for professionals with experience in healthcare, senior living, admissions, case management, social work, home health, hospice, or elder care who enjoy helping families while building strong relationships within the healthcare community.
As a Medicaid Specialist, you will meet with prospective clients, evaluate potential Medicaid eligibility, educate families on available long-term care options, coordinate required documentation, and serve as a trusted resource throughout the planning process. You will also develop referral relationships with healthcare professionals and represent Medicaid Guidance Solutions throughout Southwest Florida.
Florida Medicaid experience is preferred but not required. We provide training to the right candidate with the appropriate healthcare background and a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities
- Conduct consultations with prospective clients and families.
- Complete preliminary Medicaid eligibility assessments.
- Explain Florida Medicaid Long-Term Care programs and planning options.
- Gather and organize financial and medical documentation.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the planning process.
- Build relationships with assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, hospitals, home health agencies, hospice providers, and elder law attorneys.
- Develop new referral partnerships through networking and community outreach.
- Represent Medicaid Guidance Solutions professionally within the community.
- Maintain accurate client records and referral tracking.
- Assist with client onboarding, payment plans, and collections.
