Massachusetts Academy of Math & Science at WPI (Mass Academy) is seeking qualified substitute teachers to support our faculty and students throughout the school year.Mass Academy is a highly selective public STEM school serving academically talented students from across Massachusetts. Our students thrive in a challenging, collaborative environment that emphasizes critical thinking, creativity, research, and real-world application.We are especially interested in building a pool of substitute teachers with expertise in the following areas: -Computer Science-Mathematical Modeling-Humanities-STEM & Scientific Writing-Spanish-French-PhysicsQualificationsCandidates must have one of the following: A valid Massachusetts teaching license; orA bachelor's or advanced college degree in the subject area in which they would be substituting.Successful candidates should be comfortable working with academically advanced high school students and be able to step into a rigorous classroom environment with minimal preparation.
