Position Title: TIG + MIG Welder
Wage: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm (Mon-Thurs)
QPS Employment Group has a great TIG + MIG Welder position available at a company in Kansas City, KS. This is a 1st shift role.
Welder Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform TIG or MIG welding to a high standard.
- Operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Complete visual inspections throughout each and every weld, confirming not only visual compliance, but structural integrity.
Welder Requirements:
- Must have AWS D1.1 certification
- AWS D17.1 encouraged.
- TIG or MIG Welding Experience - 2+ years of recent experience required.
- Must be open to working contract position, 4-week project. This includes overtime and very tight project deadlines.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and complete fitting and fabrication tasks independently.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the US.
