Job Overview

Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of grilled items, including meats, vegetables, and adhering strictly to recipes and portion sizes.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, and food safety sanitizing procedures to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all ingredients and equipment.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency during meal production.
- Support food production processes by participating in food prep activities like portioning, dicing vegetables meats ect.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service hours while maintaining excellent food safety management practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a grill cook or in a similar food preparation role within the food industry or restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of grilling techniques and including food handling.
- Demonstrated knife skills and proficiency in operating various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Experience with high-volume production environments and adhering to recipe guidelines consistently.
- Background in dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus for understanding special dietary needs.
- Familiarity with food safety sanitizing procedures, food safety management practices, and proper food handling protocols.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in meal preparation and serving.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
