Salary Range: $115,000 - $135,000 + Sign-On Bonus Eligible
Schedule: 9/80 Schedule with Every Other Friday Off

Our Simi Valley facility serves as the company's primary engineering, manufacturing, testing, and integration center. Teams at this location design and develop next-generation motor controllers, embedded electronic systems, and motion control technologies supporting some of the worlds most advanced aerospace, defense, and space exploration programs.
We serve customers across space exploration, aerospace, defense, military systems, robotics, aviation, industrial automation, automotive, and agricultural technology markets.
The Electrical Engineering team currently consists of 5 engineers and is actively expanding to 8 engineers as the company continues to grow its portfolio of cutting-edge aerospace, defense, and space technologies.
You will design and develop embedded electronic hardware platforms that power advanced motor control and motion systems for aerospace, defense, lunar, and orbital mission applications.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain microcontroller-based analog and digital electronic systems used in rugged motor control and embedded hardware applications.

Participate in full product lifecycle development, including product definition, schematic design, component selection, qualification testing, documentation, and production release.

Collaborate with software, mechanical, manufacturing, and systems engineering teams to develop fully integrated hardware and embedded system solutions.

Support board layout, hardware packaging, test stand development, system integration, and hardware validation activities to ensure product performance and reliability.

Generate engineering documentation including specifications, schematics, layouts, bills of material, qualification reports, test plans, and release documentation while supporting continuous product improvements.
Required and Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with at least 3 years of recent embedded hardware development experience.

Recent hands-on hardware design experience, including the design and release of multiple circuit boards within a fast-paced engineering environment.

Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design, microcontroller-based systems, A/D and D/A converters, signal conditioning, and embedded electronics development.

Experience with ORCAD schematic capture tools, hardware testing, troubleshooting, product validation, and engineering documentation processes.

Nice to have: Motor control systems experience, FPGA development, high-speed signal processing, digital signal processing, TCP/IP communications, embedded C/C++, sensorless motor control, and power electronics experience involving IGBTs, MOSFETs, and current sensing technologies.
