We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our team! This individual will plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support children’s growth in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.
Responsibilities:
- Instruct appropriate-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
- Create a fun, safe, and supportive learning environment
- Develop and follow daily schedules that include physical activity, rest, and playtime
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with children and families
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s development and progress
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or a related field (required)
- Comfortable with all aspects of childcare, including diapering and toileting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and attentive
- Strong classroom management and the ability to build rapport with children
- Positive, patient, and dependable demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Education Requirement: College coursework with at least 6 ECE (Early Childhood Education) credits
