Job Title: CNC Operator I
Department: Machine Shop
Reports To: Machine Shop Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary: As a CNC (computer numeric controlled) Operator I, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring our company produces quality parts and tools specific to engineering drawings and client standards.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Load and unload raw material and equipment
2. Ensure CNC operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company
3. Supervise machines as they run and make adjustments as needed
4. Inspect finished product to ensure it meets required specifications
5. Record all machine actions by completing production and quality logs
6. Abide by company safety guidelines
7. Maintains and cleans machines
8. Cuts material when necessary
9. Unloads delivery trucks for machine shop
10. Operates hand tools
11. Operates forklift when needed

Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
