Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Experience in hospitality, janitorial services, or industrial cleaning is highly valued. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through proper floor care techniques such as sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials to ensure availability for guests and staff
- Follow established protocols for sanitation and safety to meet health regulations
- Report maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to management promptly
- Adhere to all safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment usage
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while providing excellent customer service
Experience
- Prior experience in cleaning or custodial roles is preferred, including hotel experience or hospitality background
- Knowledge of janitorial practices, industrial cleaning methods, and floor care techniques is advantageous
- Experience managing housekeeping operations or supervising staff is a plus but not required
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Familiarity with safety standards related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage
