Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly
- Care for floors through sweeping, polishing, carpet cleaning, and floor care techniques to ensure a pristine appearance
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs politely and professionally during visits or interactions
- Manage janitorial tasks such as restocking supplies, emptying trash bins, and ensuring all cleaning tools are maintained properly
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks when needed, including scheduling or coordinating cleaning activities
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential cleaning, custodial work, hotel housekeeping or commercial cleaning environments
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, sanitation practices and laundry procedures
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and uphold high cleanliness standards consistently
- Experience with janitorial equipment and supplies management is preferred
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced settings
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends or evenings as required
