Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Associate / Keyholder for a full-time position in <LOCATION>. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in driving sales, managing store operations, and providing exceptional customer service. This role offers leadership opportunities and requires a proactive approach to team management, inventory control, and store merchandising. As a keyholder, you will support the store’s daily functions, ensuring smooth operations and a welcoming environment for customers and staff alike.
Duties
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, utilizing excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
- Assist with employee orientation, training, and development to foster a motivated sales team
- Manage daily store operations including opening and closing procedures as a keyholder
- Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales potential
- Handle POS transactions, cash handling, cashiering, and retail math accurately
- Conduct interviewing and recruiting of new team members to build a strong sales force
- Manage payroll, bookkeeping, and other administrative tasks related to store management
- Implement pricing strategies and participate in purchasing decisions to optimize profitability
- Supervise staff scheduling, shift management, and ensure adherence to company policies
- Coordinate marketing efforts and promotional activities to increase store visibility
- Monitor sales performance and develop strategies for achieving sales goals
- Maintain organized stockrooms and ensure inventory control measures are followed
Experience
- Proven management experience in retail sales or store management with supervisory responsibilities
- Strong background in negotiation, sales management, and customer service excellence
- Experience with inventory management systems, POS systems, and retail software tools
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in training & development, team supervision, and employee orientation
- Familiarity with retail math, pricing strategies, merchandising techniques, and budgeting processes
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases
- Prior experience in recruiting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, or administrative roles is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong communication skills coupled with phone etiquette proficiency
