American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an ICU/CCU night shift position requiring at least 1 year of acute care ICU experience and current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.

ICU/CCU unit located on the 3rd floor of the main building, with 16 beds and a staff of approximately 60
-
Patient ratio is 1 RN to 2 patients
-
Each shift is staffed with 1 Charge RN, 8 RNs, and 1 PCT (for census greater than 14)
-
Common procedures include intubations and central line placement
-
Equipment includes cardiac monitors, ventilators, IV pumps, and tube feed pumps
-
EMR system is Meditech; prior experience is preferred
-
Night shift schedule: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM

13-week contract

Active CO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS); AHA or ARC accepted; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the start date

Minimum 1 year of recent acute care ICU experience required

US SSN and DOB required for consideration — no Canadian SSN accepted

One professional reference required

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Experience with medical ICU and neuro patient populations is preferred

Prior Meditech EMR experience is preferred

Ideal candidates are collaborative and team-oriented

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
