We are seeking an experienced optician who is confident in both technical skills and patient interaction. For the right candidate, this position carries real potential to develop into a lead or senior optician role as the practice grows.
What You'll Do
- Deliver an exceptional patient experience from start to finish
- Take precise measurements and ensure accurate lens selection
- Educate patients on premium lens options and materials in a clear, approachable way
- Guide frame selection based on lifestyle, prescription, and personal style
- Build genuine rapport with patients and follow through on their needs
- Bring energy and positivity to every interaction, even on busy days
- Perform adjustments and quality control
- Manage eyewear orders and maintain an organized optical
- Contribute ideas and take ownership of your area. We value team members who think like owners.
What We're Looking For
- At least 1 year of optical experience
- High attention to detail and technical accuracy
- Excellent communication and professionalism
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Comfortable in a premium, low-volume environment
- A team player who is interested in growing beyond the bench. Leadership potential is a plus.
