The Davenport Memorial Home is looking for dedicated, patient-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse, who is ready for a change in pace from the current chaotic nursing climate. You will be working closely with a small number (less than 5 at this time) of independent elderly residents in a mansion historically preserved from the late 1800s. This home is a place where you can make a difference in residents’ day to day lives. Our nursing team mainly focuses on administering medications and maintaining the proper documentation. We pride ourselves on how well our Nursing staff know our residents and their needs. It is important to us that the Davenport not only provides an elegant and comfortable living environment for the residents, but also a work environment that matches the tone of our mission. Available Shifts:
- Wednesdays 3-11pm
- Saturdays 3-11pm
- Sundays 3-11pm
Nursing Duties and Responsibilities:
- Update resident records in a confidential manner
- Administering medication
- Evaluate residents' well-being, reporting any needs or changes to the appropriate staff
Job Types: Part-time, Per diem
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 per week
