At Enlightenment Transitional Living, LLC, we believe everyone deserves to live independently with dignity, purpose, and joy. We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and dependable Direct Support Professional to provide one-on-one support to an adult with autism who communicates nonverbally.
What You’ll Do
- Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Support individuals in community outings, skill-building, and recreation.
- Follow individualized support plans (ISPs) to promote independence.
- Complete daily progress notes and maintain accurate documentation.
- Build meaningful relationships that promote confidence and self-advocacy.
- Create a safe, respectful, and positive environment for every person you support.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass background and abuse registry
- Ability to transport persons supported safely using your own vehicle
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and assist with transfers
- Experience with IDD/DDA services preferred — but we will train the right person!
