Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm, welcoming atmosphere while delivering exceptional breakfast service. Your responsibilities will include preparing and presenting a variety of breakfast items, maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards, and providing outstanding customer service to create memorable mornings for our guests. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a diverse range of breakfast foods, ensuring quality and presentation meet high standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, kitchen equipment, and food storage spaces
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures diligently to ensure all food handling practices meet health regulations
- Operate kitchen equipment such as toasters, coffee machines, and warming stations safely and efficiently
- Assist with food preparation tasks including chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning items accurately
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems and handle weight-based sales with precision
- Provide friendly in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating special requests
Requirements
- Prior experience in fine dining or restaurant settings is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety management practices
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as lifting trays or boxes of supplies safely
- Experience operating kitchen equipment and understanding basic math for transactions and portioning
- Familiarity with wine knowledge is a plus but not required
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on in-person engagement and hospitality excellence
- Previous catering or banquet experience is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Food industry experience including food handling, cleaning protocols, and sanitation procedures
