Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a key part in enhancing the quality of life for clients by offering attentive, respectful, and professional care tailored to each person’s unique needs. Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Support with medication administration and monitor vital signs to ensure health stability
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning in accordance with care plans
- Provide transportation for appointments, errands, or social activities to promote community engagement
- Observe and document patient condition, behavior, and changes; communicate updates to healthcare teams
- Use proper manual handling techniques and patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts to ensure safety during mobility assistance
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment through regular cleaning and organization tasks
Requirements
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality and privacy
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely; familiarity with patient transfer methods
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation
- Must be authorized to work in the US and provide documentation
- Minimum age of 21 years old
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Reliable transportation with car insurance
- Valid Idaho driver's license, preferred
- Able to lift 25lbs
- Pass background check
- Must have a smart phone with internet capability
