RxPepsDirect (Peptide RX LLC) gives patients access to prescription peptide therapy through licensed US providers, filled and shipped by our 503A compounding pharmacy partner. Our model is deliberately different from the "research peptide" gray market: patients pay for real medical oversight, and the medication goes at pharmacy wholesale, direct from the pharmacy. We are currently live in the following states and prescribe no controlled substances. Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, DC, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin, Wyoming.
We are adding live, synchronous visits for patients who want a hands-on protocol built for them, and this is the first prescriber we are bringing on to run it.
The role
You will carry your own panel. You conduct the visit, build the protocol, write the prescription, and stay with that patient through their outcomes. There is no gatekeeper between your clinical judgment and the script.
You are joining an existing prescribing team. Kim Callender, NP, FNP-BC is our lead prescriber and Dr. Jonathan Snipes, MD is our medical director, who also serves as the collaborating physician in states where your license requires one.
What you'll do
- Conduct 20 to 25 minute initial protocol visits and 10 to 15 minute follow-ups by video
- Build individualized protocols using our physician-authored protocol library as your starting point
- Prescribe directly to our compounding pharmacy partner through our platform
- Own outcome management: structured check-ins at day 14, 30, 60, and 90, tracking progress, adherence, and side effects
- Make titration and dose-change decisions
- Answer clinical questions from your active patients through the secure portal
- Handle adverse events personally. These are never templated.
- Work with our medical director to expand and sharpen the protocol library
Why the visits are short
Because we do the work before you get there. Patients complete a structured clinical intake, and our protocol library pre-narrows the reasonable options for their presentation. You open the chart to a prepared picture. Your visit time is clinical judgment, not data entry. If you have done telehealth where 40 minutes of a 45-minute slot was administrative, this is the opposite of that.
Peptide certification
We want a certified peptide prescriber in this seat. Here is what that looks like.
- Already certified: A4M / International Peptide Society Peptide Therapy Certification, Empire Medical Training, Clinical Peptide Society, or equivalent. Tell us the program and completion date.
- Not certified yet: We are happy to have someone onboard who is able to complete the certification with the first 90 days. A strong working understanding of Peptides is still required for this role.
Certification must be accredited through ACCME, ANCC, or ACPE.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted NP or PA license with prescriptive authority
- Licensure in multiple states. List every state you hold and we will map it against our footprint. This is the single biggest factor in how much work we can send you.
- Two or more years prescribing in an outpatient or telehealth setting
- Willingness to be credentialed with our compounding pharmacy partner, which we manage and pay for
- Comfort prescribing off-label and compounded therapies, and the judgment to decline when the picture does not support treatment
- Private, HIPAA-appropriate workspace and reliable internet
No DEA registration required. We prescribe no controlled substances of any schedule.
Strongly preferred
- Peptide therapy certification already in hand
- Background in TRT, hormone optimization, medical weight management, functional medicine, or longevity
- Hands-on experience with GLP-1 agents, growth hormone secretagogues, or regenerative peptides
- Existing multi-state license portfolio
Pay and logistics
- Fully remote, anywhere in the US
- 1099 independent contractor
- $100 to $120 per hour effective, paid per completed encounter: $35 per initial protocol visit, $20 per follow-up, $60 per hour for asynchronous review blocks
- A4M peptide certification sponsored, paid as a completion bonus
- You set your own availability windows in our booking system
- Starting around 10 to 15 visits per week with room to grow as the program does. This is a supplemental engagement to begin with, not a full book.
- No exclusivity. Keep your other work.
- We pay for and manage your pharmacy credentialing and provide the collaborating physician relationship where your state requires one
How to apply
Send your CV, the full list of states you are licensed in, any peptide or functional medicine certifications with completion dates, and a written response of 250 words or less to the following:
A 45-year-old man, BMI 31, comes to you wanting fat loss and recovery from a chronic shoulder injury. He takes no medications. Tell us how you would structure his first 90 days: what you would want to know before prescribing anything, what you would monitor, what would make you stop or escalate, and what you would decline to prescribe and why.
There is no single right answer. We are looking at how you think, and particularly at what you say no to.
Applications without the written response will not be reviewed.
