Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse to join our team in the Nursing Department. This is an hourly, non-exempt position focused on monitoring and assessing patients for optimal care and advice. Responsibilities include observing and interpreting symptoms, collaborating on individualized care plans, performing routine procedures, and administering medication and treatments as per physician orders. A valid RN license is required, and while prior experience is preferred, new graduates are welcome to apply.
Schedule FT 6a-2p, FT 6a-6p, FT 2p-10p, PT 2p-10p, PRN
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
- Perform procedures such as IV insertion, catheterization, suturing, and wound care.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Engage in case management for patients requiring ongoing support or specialized services.
- Stay current with best practices in nursing through continuous education and training.
Qualifications
- Valid LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
- Experience in critical care, emergency medicine, or hospital settings preferred.
