Mike Erdman Cadillac is looking for an experienced GM Parts Specialist to help support our growing service operation from our brand-new, state-of-the-art Cadillac facility. If you have dealership parts experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, we'd love to hear from you.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous GM dealership parts experience who is looking to grow with a dealership that values teamwork, efficiency, and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assist technicians and service advisors with accurate parts lookups
- Process customer, retail, and wholesale parts orders
- Maintain inventory accuracy through receiving, stocking, and cycle counts
- Order parts efficiently while monitoring backorders and special orders
- Process warranty and return parts according to GM and company guidelines
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient parts department
- Build positive relationships with customers, vendors, and fellow team members
- Support daily operations while helping improve department efficiency
- Maintain a high level of accuracy while ensuring technicians receive parts quickly to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Previous automotive dealership parts experience required
- GM dealership parts experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with GM electronic parts catalogs and dealership systems
- Reynolds & Reynolds experience is a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
