Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness of our Memory Care community. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to providing outstanding service. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring all areas are sanitized, organized, and welcoming, contributing to a positive environment for residents, guests, or clients.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of living spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold hygiene standards.
- Manage laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through carpet cleaning, floor care, and appropriate sanitation techniques.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ requests promptly and professionally.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are well-maintained and stored safely.
- Follow established protocols for sanitation and safety to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Experience
Previous experience in residential or commercial cleaning is essential, with familiarity in janitorial or custodial roles highly valued. Experience in hotel housekeeping management or hospitality environments enhances suitability for this position. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in various cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning and floor care. Knowledge of laundry procedures and sanitation standards is required. Prior experience in cooking or food preparation is a plus but not mandatory. A background in hospitality or hotel services provides additional insight into customer service expectations within this role. Strong organizational skills combined with the ability to multitask efficiently are crucial for success in this position.
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
