Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and personable Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our organization. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, and strong organizational abilities. This role is vital in ensuring smooth daily operations by managing front desk activities, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting administrative functions. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency with office management tools, multi-line phone systems, and computer literacy to create a positive experience for visitors and staff alike.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring a professional and friendly environment at all times
- Checking patients in/out
- Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, directing calls accurately and courteously
- Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling
- Handle incoming correspondence, including emails, mailings, and deliveries, with attention to detail
- Verifying patient insurance
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Collecting patient payments
- Maintaining a clean, organized and welcoming atmosphere
- Train in other roles throughout the office
Candidates should possess great customer service skills, a friendly and positive attitude, and the ability to multi-task and keep busy. General computer knowledge and ability to quickly learn new tasks is helpful.
