Job Overview
We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working the line in a fast-paced environment and must possess a valid Food Handler’s Certification. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstation
- Ensure food is stored and handled properly, following all health and safety regulations
- Work closely with the kitchen team to coordinate and complete orders during service
- Assist with prep tasks and support other kitchen roles as needed
- Follow proper food handling procedures and maintain accurate labeling and dating
Requirements
- Proven experience as a line cook in a commercial kitchen
- Valid Food Handler’s Certification (required)
- Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and multitask efficiently
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to follow directions
- Able to stand for long periods and lift to 50 lbs.
- Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and evenings
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with multiple cooking stations (grill, sauté, fry, etc.)
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
