Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of our facilities. Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including industrial electrical systems, commercial electrical systems, and high-voltage wiring.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics to accurately execute wiring and system layouts.
- Conduct diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely while adhering to electrical safety procedures.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete electrical installations and repairs on construction sites or renovation projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules and ensure quality workmanship.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an electrician with a strong background in industrial electrician work and commercial electrical systems.
- Knowledge of NFPA 70 compliance, NEC standards, and local electrical codes.
- Skilled in reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and blueprints reading for accurate installations.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
- Hands-on experience with high-voltage wiring, electrical wiring techniques, and electrical safety procedures.
- Construction site experience or renovation project background preferred; familiarity with blueprint reading is essential.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent hand tool proficiency and power tool handling.
- Valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations; additional handyman or frame carpentry skills are a plus.
