We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive seating assistance as needed.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and completeness.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms.
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving concerns professionally, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and guest relations.
- Ability to multitask effectively while managing time efficiently during busy shifts.
- Prior experience in serving, bussing, hosting/hostessing, or cashiering is highly desirable.
