This is an opportunity to work at the front lines of loss prevention and customer service for some of the most exclusive retail brands in New York City.
What You’ll Do
- Be the face of security: Welcome customers and guests while projecting a polished, professional image.
- Control store access: Monitor entrances and check credentials for staff, vendors, and deliveries.
- Protect valuable merchandise: Remain alert to deter theft and respond to suspicious behavior.
- Maintain a safe shopping environment: Be prepared to act quickly during emergencies.
- Document everything: Complete accurate incident and activity reports each shift.
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Security Guard License – required
- Minimum 3 years’ security experience, with a strong preference for luxury retail or boutique settings
- Exceptional communication skills and a confident, approachable demeanor
- Immaculate professional appearance and reliable work habits
- Ability to stand for extended hours and remain attentive throughout shifts
- Punctuality and availability for daytime and weekend work
