Responsibilities Include:
Accepting customer loads upon approval of the Logistics Account Manager, building loads, booking loads, organizing loads and tracking loads
Notifying customers of freight arrivals, pickups, movement, and deliveries
Maintaining lines of communication with carriers, customers, shipping, and receiving facilities
Data entry into fleet management system and online customer/vendor platforms
Retaining records of purchase orders and various administrative or clerical support tasks
Contacting customers, carriers, or distribution facilities to resolve problems or make adjustments as needed.
Continuously communicating with the Logistics Account Manager and trainee(s) to ensure proper maintenance of accounts.
Negotiating contracts for individual freight shipments
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in business administration or other related fields of logistics strongly preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) Strongly preferred.
Ability to think proactively and plan ahead.
Knowledge of multiple transportation and logistics disciplines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multi-task and problem-solve. 1+ years of load planning, data coordinating, or transportation and customer service experience is strongly preferred.
Benefits:
Base salary is $42,000 with the potential to bonus quarterly based on team performance.
