Server- take orders, answer questions about the menu and food, sell the restaurant's food and drinks, take payment, communicate orders with the kitchen staff, sit customers, and helps with customer service and cleaning
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer services
- Greet customers and present menus
- Make suggestions based on their preferences
- Take and serve food/drinks orders
- Up-sell when appropriate
- Arrange table settings
- Keep tables clean and tidy at all times
- Deliver checks and collect payments
- Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff
- Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines
Qualifications
- POS experience
- Customer service skills
- Food handling knowledge
- Restaurant experience
- Food safety training
- Aloha or Micros POS proficiency
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Upselling experience
- Basic math skills
- Sanitation and food preparation knowledge
