American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with a minimum of 2 years of experience and strength in Ortho, Neuro, Robotics, ENT, General Surgery, and Urology for a 13-week travel contract in Naples, FL.

Hospital-based Operating Room setting in Naples, FL

Day shift schedule: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM

On-call responsibilities required

Floating between campuses may be required as needed

Cerner EMR used; experience required

13-week contract

Active FL RN license or compact RN license required

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS

CNOR certification preferred

Minimum 2 years of OR experience required, with strength in Ortho, Neuro, Robotics, ENT, General Surgery, and/or Urology

Cerner EMR experience required

A valid driver's license is required for consideration
-
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
-
All certifications must remain active through at least the first 30 days of the assignment

Responsibilities include ensuring surgical supply readiness, case timeliness, family communication, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting during surgical cases, and supervising personnel delivering patient care

Works collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR techs, and other surgical team members in accordance with State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and hospital regulatory standards

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position

Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible

RTO requests must be for less than one week in duration
