Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately.
- Perform repairs on diesel engines, including powertrain components, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to execute repairs efficiently and safely.
- Complete vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake service, alignment adjustments, and tire rotations.
- Repair or replace components related to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and other automotive electrical systems.
- Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic codes to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electronic problems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicle safety and reliability are prioritized.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience or equivalent mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair.
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics, and electrical systems is essential.
- Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, diesel engine repair, wheel alignment, and powertrain maintenance.
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service techniques.
- Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus but not required.
- Ability to read technical manuals accurately and follow detailed repair procedures.
