Peraton is seeking an System & Data Integration Specialist to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to support the end‑to‑end integration of the E‑IDS operational environment. This role combines data mapping, layout development, systems understanding, and network awareness to ensure reliable, consistent, and accurate configuration across FAA facilities. The specialist must be able to interpret operational requirements, understand how data flows through the system, and configure layouts that align with facility needs and NAS‑wide standards.
Core Responsibilities
- Support full E‑IDS System Integration across data, layouts, network components, and facility workflows
- Gather operational requirements directly from FAA facilities
- Build LDAs by mapping NDC fields to site‑specific operational needs
- Validate data accuracy, layout behavior, system interfaces, and interoperability.
- Deploy configurations and support iterative refinement across test and operational environments
- Document field mappings, layout decisions, template structures, system behaviors, and configuration changes
- Support system integration from hardware setup, logistics coordination, software configuration, and cutover activities
- Understanding of Interface Control Documents, engineering drawings, and technical baselines.
- Ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues using standard Cisco diagnostic commands.
- Experience integrating communications equipment with enterprise networks.
- Experience supporting deployment and commissioning activities.
- Ability to troubleshoot common Linux operational issues.
- Verify implementation packages before deployment.
- Ability to work across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Ability to communicated technical issues to both engineering and management audiences.
- Analyze and resolve technical problems in a structured manner.
Work Location :
- Remote work is permitted; candidates must reside within the contiguous United States.
- Must be able to travel 50-90% of the time to support deployments at CONUS and potentially OCONUS locations.
