Job Summary
Our busy pediatric office is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and energetic Medical Assistant (PRN) to join our team. This position will provide clinical support to our providers while delivering exceptional care to infants, children, adolescents, and their families. This is a flexible PRN opportunity with no weekends or holidays required.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and room pediatric patients
- Obtain and document vital signs, patient history, and chief complaints
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures
- Administer immunizations and perform clinical duties within scope of practice
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies
- Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and families
- Follow all office policies, procedures, and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification preferred
- Previous pediatric experience preferred, Medical Assisting experience required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with EMR systems preferred
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
- Must enjoy working with children and families
