As the Chick-fil-A Front of House Hospitality Director you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and delivering a remarkable guest first experience. The vision of our restaurant is to be a cornerstone in our King George community by winning the hearts of all of our customers. The Front of House Hospitality Director is expected to lead from the front, demonstrate Chick-fil-A hospitality in every interaction, and consistently develop people rather than simply manage tasks. The ideal leader understands that the primary responsibility of leadership is to build people who can build the business. We are looking for a results oriented leader that exudes hospitality and loves people!
The Front of House Hospitality Director is responsible for leading the Front of House team in delivering an exceptional, consistent, and genuine hospitality experience to every guest. This leader oversees daily FOH operations, develops team members and leaders, maintains high standards of service and cleanliness, and helps create a culture where guests and team members feel valued. This Director serves as a role model for Chick-fil-A's commitment to second mile service, operational excellence, and servant leadership. Working closely with the Operator and other leaders to achieve restaurant goals related to guest satisfaction, team development, sales, speed of service, food safety, financial stewardship and overall operational performance.

Direct and work in the daily operations overseeing, supervising, & developing systems and processes

Lead a team of 40-50 individuals with excellence and positivity; celebrate successes while holding team members accountable for performance results

Ensure food safety is always the priority by leading the team to execute the details with consistency

Promote faithful stewardship by managing equipment, inventory, and waste

Lead the way in building a culture of care in the restaurant through intentional relationships and 2nd mile service

Partner with other leaders to solve problems, implement solutions, and obtain real results

Perform off-shift managerial tasks such as team training and development, store projects, and analyzing reports and results

Ensure Chick-fil-A King George is meeting and exceeding all Chick-fil-A standards

Meet regularly with Operator and Leadership Team for training/personal development and to execute the overall restaurant vision

Help cultivate a culture based on care, excellence, teamwork, and servant leadership.

Promote Chick-fil-A's values through daily actions and leadership.

Support restaurant marketing, community involvement, and local events when needed.

Build positive relationships with guests, team members, vendors, and community partners.

Represent the restaurant professionally both inside and outside the restaurant.

Oversee daily FOH operations to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant execution.

Coordinate staffing and deployment based on business needs.

Monitor speed of service, order accuracy, hospitality, and operational efficiency.

Ensure team members are properly positioned and prepared for peak business periods.

Partner with kitchen and leadership teams to ensure seamless coordination between FOH and BOH.

Assist with opening and closing procedures as needed.

Ensure restaurant equipment, supplies, and guest-facing areas are properly maintained.

Identify operational bottlenecks and implement improvements.
Expectations
-
2+ years of leadership/management experience in a restaurant (Chick-fil-A experience preferred)
-
Demonstrates humility and servant leadership mentality; willing to get your hands dirty

Minimum 1yr commitment once fully promoted to director position.

Ability to obtain the knowledge and skills of every position in the operation

Ability to maintain composure under high pressure and make decisions quickly

Lead with care showing 2nd mile service to every guest and team member.

Grow our restaurant by developing team members and other leaders. Consistency is key. Spend 1on1 time and also lead monthly leadership meetings.

Strong business acumen and understanding of restaurant financials. Analyze restaurant data to improve restaurant performance for labor cost and food cost. Make in the moment shift adjustments to reduce labor or impact guest experience.

Faithful steward of equipment: protecting, cleaning, and maintaining restaurant equipment.

Identify problems, communicate them, and figure out the best way to solve them.
