Part-Time Custodial Technician Job
Resilient Group Solutions, LLC is seeking a dependable, energetic, and detail-oriented Custodial Technician to join our team. This individual will be responsible for maintaining clean, sanitary, safe, and welcoming environments for our clients.
The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, follow established cleaning and safety procedures, and work effectively with limited supervision. Previous commercial custodial experience is preferred, especially experience performing hospital-grade cleaning in healthcare or medical facilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform routine and detailed cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and removing trash.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, offices, common areas, patient-care areas, and other assigned spaces.
- Follow hospital-grade cleaning and disinfection procedures when working in healthcare environments.
- Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces to help maintain appropriate health and safety standards.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, carpet extractors, and automatic floor scrubbers.
- Use, label, store, and dispose of cleaning chemicals according to safety guidelines and product instructions.
- Restock paper products, soap, sanitizers, and other supplies as needed.
- Move furniture, supplies, equipment, and cleaning materials using proper lifting techniques.
- Report damaged equipment, safety concerns, supply shortages, and maintenance needs to management.
- Complete porter duties, detailed cleaning, and other custodial assignments as needed.
- Follow all company policies, client requirements, infection-control procedures, and workplace safety standards.
- Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with clients, employees, visitors, and members of the public.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous commercial cleaning, janitorial, or custodial experience is preferred.
- Hospital-grade cleaning experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience cleaning healthcare, medical, or patient-care environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of sanitation, infection prevention, and cross-contamination prevention practices is preferred.
- Ability to safely operate commercial cleaning equipment.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including chemical labels and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to completing work thoroughly.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Professional communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and moving supplies during the assigned shift.

Pay: $14.50 - $16.00 per hour
