Position Overview
Alliance Orthopedics serves thousands of patients across nine New Jersey locations, and we are aggressively
growing our community presence through physician outreach, ambassador programs, social media campaigns, and
local marketing initiatives. We're looking for a motivated, people-forward intern who wants to build real marketing
experience in a healthcare environment.
The Marketing & Community Outreach Intern will support both digital and field marketing efforts from managing
social content calendars and drafting outreach communications to supporting community ambassador programs and
tracking campaign performance. This is a high-visibility role with meaningful work from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in executing multi-platform social media content calendars for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Support physician and community outreach programs by preparing materials and managing contact records
- Draft outreach emails, direct messages, and engagement scripts for community ambassador campaigns
- Monitor and report on social media analytics, engagement metrics, and campaign KPIs
- Conduct local competitor research and community landscape analysis across NJ markets
- Support the PIP (Patient, Injury, Prevention) marketing team with content and campaign coordination
- Help maintain CRM records and outreach tracking spreadsheets
- Assist at community health events, health fairs, and brand activation opportunities
Qualifications & Requirements
- Currently enrolled in Marketing, Communications, Business, or Public Relations
- Strong written communication skills. Able to write for both formal and social media contexts
- Comfortable working in Google Workspace, Canva, and basic social media scheduling tools
- People-oriented and energized by community engagement and relationship-building
- Interest in healthcare, wellness, or orthopedics a plus but not required
- Ability to work some in-person hours across NJ clinic locations and community events
- Must be eligible to receive academic credit through your university
