Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience, providing personalized recommendations when appropriate.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling standards.
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations to ensure accurate transactions.
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly, adhering to alcohol service laws and policies to promote a safe environment.
- Restock bar supplies promptly, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages, ensuring the bar is always ready for service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service or catering events, supporting banquet or nightclub operations as needed.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or banquet halls.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous for efficient order processing.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods seamlessly.
- Experience in sales-driven roles that emphasize customer service excellence.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience working in hospitality environments such as breweries, catering events, or retail food industry settings is beneficial.
