We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Piping Engineer to support piping calculations and engineering activities for commercial nuclear projects. The ideal candidate will be a Mechanical or Civil Engineer with prior nuclear industry experience and a strong background in piping analysis and calculations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and verify nuclear piping calculations and engineering analyses.
- Perform piping stress, load, support, and system evaluations.
- Review piping drawings, specifications, design documents, and applicable calculations.
- Support piping modifications and engineering change packages.
- Ensure engineering work complies with nuclear industry codes, standards, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.
- Prepare clear, technically accurate engineering documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Prior engineering experience within the nuclear power industry.
- Demonstrated piping engineering and calculation experience.
- Knowledge of nuclear engineering standards, design controls, and documentation requirements.
- Strong technical writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with commercial nuclear plant modifications.
- Piping stress analysis and pipe-support evaluation experience.
- Familiarity with applicable ASME codes and nuclear quality programs.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
