What the job involves:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify student strengths and needs
- Develop and implement appropriate intervention strategies
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to design effective behavior and academic plans
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Maintain organized, accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Foster positive, culturally responsive relationships with students and staff
